Biography

Lois was born in Michigan in 1881 to William Fletcher and Lois (Clark) Fletcher. She married George Chapel on 12 Aug 1903 in Grand Blanc, Michigan.^[1] In the 1910 Census, they had a son, Camden, born 1 Jun 1904.^[2][3] The family continued to grow. In about 1911, they had a daughter Cora,^[4] then in 1914, Harold who died as an infant.^[5] Later, they had another daughter, Carolyn (b. ca. 1917).^[4] In 1930, George's sister Rosa is living with them, too.^[6] She died in 1969 in her 80s and is buried with her husband and tiny son, Harold.^[7]
