The following email was sent to the Puritan Great Migration project, but really belongs here so fellow genealogist can pick up and answer. Thank you.

"This profile is inconsistent with the profile of Jazan's husband William Hartwell. In William's profile his first wife Susan dies shortly after they arrived in Concord, and his second wife Jazan is the mother of his later children, including Samuel. In this profile Susan was the mother of all of William's children and died in 1673; Jazan married William after her child-bearing years.

How do we know Susan died in 1673?

Thanks,

Daryl"

Should be "Unknown" Hartwell was her married name

C H Pope "Pioneers of Masssachusetts" quotes her deposition as showing her birth in 1608, in agreement with her findagrave, making it less likely she was born in Concord where she lived from 1636 or 1642
