Biography

Agnes (Flieth) Reeves was a Wisconsinite.

Agnes was born on 30 Sept. 1887 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Otto Flieth and Charlotte Rose Borer.^[1] She was married to Noah Casey Reeves on 7 April 1919 at Waukegan, Lake, Illinois.^[2] Agnes died 18 Nov. 1973 at Barberton, Summit, Ohio and is buried at Highland Park Cemetery, Highland Hills, Ohio.^[3]

Marriage

"This Certifies that: Noah Casey Reeves, of Paris Island, State of South Carolina, and Agnes Ida Flieth, of Milwaukee, State of Wisconsin were united in Holy Matrimony at Waukegan. According to the Ordinance of God and the Laws of the State of Illinois. on the 7th day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Nineteen. Witnesses: Archie Farquharson, Laura Fleith [stet] Farquharson and Minister S. W. Cliedester, clergyman."^[2]

Agnes and Noah were married at Waukegan, Illinois on 7 April 1919. Family history has it that Noah came to Milwaukee, Wisc. with his friend, Archie Farquharson to be Archie's best man. Archie was marrying Agnes' sister Laura Flieth. When Noah got there and met Agnes they apparently fell in love and it was decided that there would be a double wedding.
