Biography

Delila was born on 29 January 1795 in Burke County, North Carolina, USA. She was the daughter of Abraham Floyd I and Eve (Julian) Floyd.[1]

Delila died at the age of 50 on 7 October 1845 in Brown, Indiana, USA and was buried in Crouch Cemetery, Gnaw Bone, Brown County, Indiana.[1]

Children: Matthew Tipton Raper 1834–1910 Delilah L Raper Good 1839–1905 Julia Ann Raper Curry 1839–1907 Delila Floyd had a son, James who was born out of wedlock. His legal name was James Floyd. His birth father was Isaac Sewell. Lewis and Delila were married in 1826. Lewis adopted James Floyd in 1830, but James kept his last name as Floyd.
