Notes

From Helen Milne's book James Boog, The Laird of Skelbo - Alexandra Rose Nisbet was the great great grand daughter of William Rose and Catharine Boog and was the last relative of James Boog living in Dornoch.
Helen Milne had many conversations with Brice Clagett (1933-2008), a descendant of Charles Rinaldo Floyd and Julia Boog through their daughter Mary Faith Floyd.
Helen and Brice met up in Scotland and discovered that Alexandra Rose Nisbet owned the Boog family Bible; a Crown Derby china set which had been owned by James Boog; books inscribed with his name and the date 1777; miniatures of James and Christina (Ross) Boog, and Christy’s (as she signed her name) spinning wheel.
Miss Nisbet’s heir was her nephew in Canada, who might have kept the miniatures and family Bible.
Alexandra Rose Nisbet died on 17th October 1953 aged 62 in Dornoch. She died in testate –confirmation 20th January 1954. The executor dative was George Nisbet, presumably her nephew. His address was 119 Pauline Avenue, Toronto, Canada. Her estate was £3551:8:10d.

Floyd-4983 and Floyd-1448 appear to represent the same person because: Both men are shown as being the son of Sen. John Floyd of Georgia. Profile of Floyd-4983 needs to be researched.
