Mary was born about 1858. West Virginia Vital Research Records indicate Peter's 1st wife, Mary L. Gillispie, age 25yrs, 3mon, 1day, died August 19, 1878 in Teays Valley, Putnam County, WV (burial location not noted in the records). Mary L Neal's parents was, George Roger's Clark Floyd and Cosby Neal,,, Mary L Neel was born out of wedlock and Mary Neal grew up with her grandparents, James and Catherine Neal, the Neal family had came to Putnam County West Virginia, some time around 1861-1865 Parents: Joseph Holley 1839–1906 Amanda A. Wallace Holley 1837–1907
