Mary " Sally" Flynn was born 1802 in Fauquier County Virginia the daughter of William and Sarah ( nee Flynn) Flynn ,
On 8 jan 1821 in Fauquier County Virginia she married her first cousin John William Griffith Sr.THE SON OF ELIJAH GRIFFITH & ELIZABETH FLYNN.
MARY & JOHN GRIFFITH had at least seven children Abner Lunceford Griffith (1823–1888), Elijah Griffith (1826–1901), Sarah Elizabeth Griffith Pearson (1828–1906), Mary Ann Griffith (1830–1874), John William Griffith (1832 – unknown), Harriet Elizabeth Griffith Lunsford (1833–1914) and William Evan Griffith (1839–1917).
She died in 1872 (aged 69–70) in Fauquier County, Virginia, USA.
