William was born in 1856 in Philadelphia, PA. He was married to Virginia Chester on 15 August 1880 in Brooke Co., West Virginia.[1] They may have had a daughter, Mary Flynn; there a Mary Flin enumerated on the 1900 census with the Jeffers family "Flin, Mary Board White Female Apr 1882 18 Single"[2]
