↑ Source: #S-2097963744 Data: Text: 6 Feb 1954 Obituaries Mary Ellen Doyle, 89 of Neola died at her home Friday following an illness of four months. Mrs Doyle was a native of Anamosa and a resident of Neola and Pottawattamie county for 80 years. She was the widow of the late Michael J Doyle. She was a member of St Patrick's church, the Alter Society, and the Catholic Daughter's of America in Neola. Survivors include: Six daughters Mrs Mary Dixon of Council Bluffs, Hellen Hess of Creston, Mrs Marguret O'Conner, Mrs Gertrude McGuire, Miss Cecilla Doyle and Mrs Julia Minahan, all of Neola. Three sons: John of Sacramento CA, and James and Joe of Neola. One sister, Mrs Ethel Patterson of Omaha. 29 grandchildren and 43 greatgrandchildren. Requiem Mass will be celelbrated at 9:30 am Monday at St. Patrick's Church in Neola by Father Joseph P. Shaw. Internment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Neola, Iowa. Rosary recitation will be at 8:00 pm Sunday at the Doyle residence in Neola where the body will be until the time of service. Beem-Belford Funeral Home is in charge.
