"Mary Ann Laughlin's parents were Hanora Flynn and Daniel Laughlin (could be spelled O'Loghlin). Pert thinks they came from County Clare. [Nicholas Laughlin's biography states the family was from Kerry]. They came to Detroit, Mich. were married there and went to Negaunee to work in the iron mine. . . . Hanora Flynn, your great great grand-mother had a brother Daniel Flynn who came to the U.S. and married an O'Keefe. She was the mother of Tom Scanlon's wife [Aunt Hannah Flynn], brother of your grandfather."[1][2][3]
