Anne Follansby (more commonly spelled Follansbee) was born in about 1668 in Newbury, Massachusetts. She was the fourth child born to Thomas Follansbee and Mary Bradford.
Anne married, as his first wife, Moses Chase, an Ensign in the Essex Regiment, on 10 November 1684.[1][2] Their firstborn children were twin boys, Moses and Daniel, who were born on 20 September 1685. Moses died sometime within the first two years of his life; Daniel grew to adulthood, married, had children, and died at the age of 83.[3]
Anne and her husband Moses had a third child, whom they also named Moses. Like Daniel, this Moses grew to adulthood, had a family, and lived to the relatively old age of 72.

Anne Follansbee Chase died approximately two weeks after the birth of Benoni, her youngest child, on April 18, 1708.[4] She is buried in the Sawyer Hill Burying Ground in Newburyport (formerly Newbury), Massachusetts.[5] Her gravestone is engraved:
Mentioned in the Application for Membership in the Sons of The American Revolution of Charles A. Jackson dated January 30th 1897, accepted March 30th 1897.[6]
Anne was born in 1668. She passed away in 1708.
