Ralph Fones was born on June 30, 1887, near Fulton, New York, to George Fones and Jenny Jennings. He died in childhood on March 28, 1893.[1]

Mr. and Mrs. George Fones lost their only son, Ralph, with pneumonia, aged five years. He was a bright, interesting child, and the fond parents have the sincere sympathy of their neighbors in their sad bereavement.
