Judy is the daughter of John and Velma (Campfield) Fontanini. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Des Moines, Polk, Iowa.[1]
Judy was married to Bruce Ellis for 57 years, and from that union came three children, Bruce, Maria, and Lisa, all of the greater Kansas City area.[1] Judy worked for the Hickman Mills Clinic for 25 years, retiring in 1995. Judy enjoyed being a grandmother, attending her grandchildren's activities and spending time with them. She also enjoyed the beach, traveling, playing cards, reading, playing games, and hosting family suppers. She was well-known for her spaghetti and meatballs![1]
Family was directed to contribute to the ALS Foundation, so her passing may have been due to this illness.[1]
Judy is buried at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson, Missouri.[2]
