Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Michael Foos:
Mitochondrial DNA Test Other, haplogroup H1
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Michael:
Hello Michael, you are 7th cousin to my spouse Copes-104 through the Conser line. Will be glad to hear of any new sources/research on that family. Best hunting. Jane
Jane, I have no concrete information about the Conser line that is not posted on Wikitree. However, I recently came across a suggestion that the LNAB of the wife of John George Conser was LNAB was "Dunckel" < https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LVPG-4YR>. I would like to find some documentation for this suggestion.

p.s. I have a tree on MyHeritage.com but am fairly new to WikiTree - do not want to post another tree online.
John Foos was b. 15 Nov 1787 Tennessee and Maria Magdalena "Mary" Aye was b. 8 Feb 1786 in ?Hagerstown [some records say Agnestown but 'experts' at Frederick Historical Society, Frederick, Maryland say they have not heard of Agnestown. I wonder if it could have been Hagerstown pronounced with a silent 'A' - sounding like Agnestown.] She was baptized 26 Mar 1786 Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church, married John Foos in 1811 in Berkshire, Delaware Co., Ohio (age 24) and she died 30 Jan 1866 in Kirkpatrick, Scott Twp., Marion Co., Ohio.

Hi, Thank you for showing the two profiles on my mother Mona Bailey Dally. I tried merging but was unsuccessful. I have a lot I can add to the family history but I dont want to mess things up.
Hi Michael, I corrected the birth location of Charrel--157. Here is what I found for his wife on FamilySearch.org (no sources)

One thing I noticed on a birth document with father listed as Charles for son Samuel, is that Samuel's mother is listed as Elizabeth. See second source on Charles--157
Michael -- Just a heads up about New Sweden. There is New Sweden project which attempts to look over the profiles for those few member and immediate descendants of the New Sweden Colony.
This has absolutely nothing to do with New Sweden in Aroostook Maine. That was founded in 1870 in an effort to encourage immigration to that part of Maine. Some genealogy programs pick up the place name because it is the only "New Sweden" on modern maps.
Wish you a Happy New Year. May 2018 bring you all you need to be happy.
Congratulation for adding your contributions in December. Whatever the quantity of your contributions, they all count. As we always say "Quality is better than quantity" to make a great family tree.
I looked for a profile of George Brown that died in 1745, but couldn't find one. Have you created a profile of George Brown and perhaps I just couldn't find it?
No, I've not entered a profile for George Brown. His descendants MAY include my illusive 2nd great grandfather, Richard Gibson Brown. I don't want to 'own' him unless I'm sure he's an ancestor ;) I was working on finding accurate info on George et. al. and trying to clean-up what I do find. Glad to send you what I've found to date off-board, if you like.

From the recent work on Amy Johnson Crow's genealogy during the WikiTree Challenge, it turns out that you and I are 6th cousins. :-)
Nice to "meet" you!
