His will is dated 24 September 1762 in Newtown and proved on 7 December 1762 in Danbury. He mentions his wife Amey, and his daughters, Lucie and Ruth, and his sons, Elijah (eldest son), Ezra, and Isaac.[3]
His inventory was taken on 8 December 1762 in Newtown and recorded in Danbury.[4]
In 1769, his real estate distribution was set out to his widow, Amy, now wife of Capt Joseph Davis of Derby, Elijah Foot (eldest son), Ezra Foot, and Isaac Foot.[5]
