Biography

Mary was the daughter of Andrew Ford.^[1] She is named as Mary Whitman in his will probated in Boston 23 March 1692/3^[2][3]

Birth

No primary sources have been found for the birth year of Mary. Secondary sources indicate births from 1647 to after 1650.

Based on the birth years of her children, her birth could be as late as 1655, making her 18 at the birth of her first child, or as early as 1645, making her 45 at the birth of her last child. Most genealogists have agreed upon 1654.^[4]
