Birth

James Ford, the son of James Ford, was born 1699 in Marshfield, Plymouth, Mass.[1]

James Ford d. 05 May 1757 in Bozrah, New London, Connecticut. [8]

Probate

James Ford's will is dated 21 April 1757 and proved on 12 May 1757 in Norwich. He mentions his four sons, James, Joseph, Ichabod, and John, and his daughters Ann, Elizabeth, Hannah, and Sarah.[1][9]

His inventory was completed on 20 May 1757 in Norwich.[9]

In 1758, the real estate distribution was set out to the sons, James (eldest son), Joseph, Ichabod, and John. The moveables were distributed to the above sons and the daughters, Ann (eldest daughter), Elizabeth, Hannah, and Sarah (youngest).[9]
