Biography

When Benjamin Fordham was born on November 27, 1743, in New Bern, North Carolina, his father, Benjamin, was 40 and his mother, Martha, was 24. He had three sons and nine daughters with Mary Blackshear between 1767 and 1791. He died on October 26, 1810, in Trenton, North Carolina, at the age of 66, and was buried in Jones County, North Carolina.

Fordham-215 and Fordham-190 appear to represent the same person because: There is a preponderance of better evidence from several sources that Benjamin Fordham died in 1810. I have added many of these sources to the record with the death date of 1810. The birth dates are the same, the spouses are the same, and the location is the same.
