Biography
Tron was born on 18 Dec 1821at Hole, Sigdal and was baptized at Sigdal on 10 Feb 1822.[1] He married Helle Hansdatter from Fraagodt on 22 Mar 1853 at Sigdal.[2]
They had the following children.
Knud (born 14 Apr 1853 at Fraagot in Sigdal and baptized 16 May 1853)
Hans (born 11 Sep 1855 at Fraagot in Sigdal and baptized 14 Oct 1855)
Ole (born 21 Dec 1857 at Helgeset in Sigdal and baptized 24 Jan 1858)
Lars (born 30 Jun 1860 at Texle in Flesberg and baptized 05 Aug 1860)
Anders (born 16 May 1863 at Texle in Flesberg and baptized 21 Jun 1863)
Kari (born 13 Nov 1865 at Texle in Flesberg and baptized 07 Jan 1865)
Marthe (born 18 Feb 1869 at Foss in Flesberg and baptized 26 Mar 1869)

In 1875, Tron and his family were living at Foss in Nordre Svenne, Flesberg.[4] and [5]
There is record of Tron, and daughters Kari, Marthe and Sønnev leaving for America in 1878.[6]
In 1880, the family, listed with Knutson as their surname, was living in Traill County, Dakota Country. Tron is listed with his wife Helle, sons Knud, Hans, Lars and Anders, daughters Kari, Marthe and Sinnev.[7]
Tron died 09 Dec 1897 in Hatton, Traill, North Dakota and was buried in Saint Johns Cemetery in Hatton.[8]
