James Foster was born about 1808 in Pennsylvania, United States.[1]
In the 1860 US census, James Foster (age 52) was living in Elizabeth, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with wife Catharine Foster (48), and children Cyrus (23), Margaret (20), Isabella (18), Catharine (16), George (12), Emma (10), Sarah (8) and Charles (7). He was working as a manager.[1]
He passed away about 1861.
