The John Foster married to Hannah Stetson died 24 Dec 1741
Hannah Foster was the daughter of the first Deacon John Foster. She died at age 84 on December 17, 1778, therefore she must have been born around 1694. She married William Bradford of Plymouth, Massachusetts, then George Partridge of Duxbury

there appears to be two John Foster's in the area and time frame. One married Hannah Stetson and the other married Hannah Studson on 16 Nov 1692 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Mass.
Foster-9406 and Foster-2426 are not ready to be merged because: Death dates are almost 100 years apart. Both profiles need serious cleanup before they can be merged (and preferably some actual sources that are not just online family trees or Ancestry.com).
Foster-9406 and Foster-2426 appear to represent the same person because: From the biography in the unsourced Foster-9406 profile, it's clear that it's intended to represent the John Foster whose daughter was Hannah Foster, born 1694. However, the death date of 1682 displayed on the profile is not consistent with having a daughter in 1694.
I am proposing a merge, based on my interpretation that the two profiles are intended to represent the same person, but the birthplace and death date on Foster-9406 are wrong.
