Daughter of Robert Foster and Ethel A. Marsh.
Ruth was second child, no record of first. Ruth was abandoned by her parents and given up for unofficial adoption. Her grandmother Ethel Marsh lived until 1935 and corresponded with her over those years, even though they never met!
