Biography

This profile is part of the Forster Name Study.

Mary Forster or Foster, was the dau. of:

  • Arthur Foster [of Kirkandrews, Cumberland].[1]
  • and Catherine Curwen.

Marriage

She was the second wife of Rev. Luke Ogle of Berwick (1630 - Apr 1696). Ogle (1902), states that she had no children with the reverend,[2] but later sources claim that she's the mother of Samuel Ogle of Bowsden ... whose mother is Katherine Graham.

She was the executor of her husband's will in 1696.[1]
