Hannah Foster was married to Henry Chandler in Andover, Massachusetts.[1] Their intentions to marry were published in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, on 14 September 1723; the record identifies Henry as "of Enfield."[2] Hannah's birth year is estimated at about 1698, based on her husband's birth in 1696, but she may have been younger.
The family resided in Enfield, Connecticut, where their five children were born and where Henry Chandler died on 4 April 1735.[3]
Hannah was married to John Gains as her second husband on 9 November 1736.[4]
