Samuel Major Foster and Jane C. Foster (Cunnius) had a son (John T. Foster) that married Martha B. Hill and Martha is a sister of my g-grandmother Mary Ann Hill that married George Buchanan McCarty.

Mary Ann (Hill) McCarty lived in Greenwood, Wise Co., TX until her death in 1954. She used to enterain us with stories about the Civil War when we visited my grandparents in Greenwood.
