Annie Boyd Foster was born Apr. 11, 1885 in Comanche Co., Texas^[1] to Andrew Boyd Foster and Nancy Catherine (Brewer) Foster.

She married Richard Matthew Shackelford on Nov. 6, 1905 in Comanche Co., Texas.

Together they became parents of Henry Brewster Shackelford, Ernest Richard Shackelford, James Boyd Shackelford, Catherine Marguerite Shackelford, Thelma L. (Shackelford) Hulstine, and Fay Inez (Shackelford) DeGeer.

Annie passed away Oct. 11, 1962 in Tahlequah, Cherokee Co., Oklahoma and was buried at Foreman Cemetery in Westville, Adair Co., Oklahoma.^[2]
