Zachary T. Foster, 55 of 542 S. Church Street, died Sunday at 3:15 a.m. at the Waynesboro Hospital.
He was taken critically ill at 1:40 a.m. Sunday following a heart attack and was removed to the hospital and died shortly after being admitted.
He was born in Waynesboro, son of Frank B. and Rose Cline Foster. All of his life was lived here.
Mr. Foster served an enlistment in the Army after World War II and then was employed at Landis tool Company in the planer department for 24 years.
He attended Otterbein United Brethren Church and was a member of the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday School.
Surviving are his widow, Grace A. Moats; daughters, Eleanor M. and Mrs. Charles Shifflett, both at home, these brothers and sisters, Ralph of Baltimore; William Stewart, Norman and Mrs. Loveus Smith all of Waynesboro and Charles of Ringgold.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Grove Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. George Weaver. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
