Biography

Elizabeth Forster immigrated to Sydney, New South Wales on the Scythia on 26 June 1871.^[1]

She moved on to Victoria and married Charles Keen there in 1874.^[2]

Their children were:

• Mabel Jane Keen (1875–1939)
• Annie Elizabeth Keen (1877–1955)
• Joseph Thomas Keen (1880–1953)

Charles died aged only 29 in December 1880 at Sandridge, Victoria.

Elizabeth moved to Port Adelaide, South Australia and married John Henry Webb there on 30 June 1883.^[3]

They had four children at Port Adelaide:^[4]

• John Henry Clark Webb, 20 September 1884
• Sarah Charlotte Webb, 4 October 1886
• William Arthur Webb, 23 July 1888
• Ada May (Webb) Tonkes, 25 November 1890

Elizabeth died aged 69 on 20 February 1920 at Port Adelaide.^[5]

WEBB.—On the 20th February, at her son-in-laws residence (Mr.J. Watson), Spring-street, Queenstown, Elizabeth, beloved Wife of John Webb, of Rose-street, Port Adelaide. aged 69 years.
