The 1850 Census Bristol for Morgan Cty, Ohio, shows Azariah was born about 1842 and being 8 year old child of Simon and Mary Foster.[1]
Azariah was living with his wife, Lyzania (b. about 1844), their children Francis D. (b. about 1867) and Samuel E. (b. about 1868), as well as his mother, Mary (b. about 1808) as of the 1870 Census.[2]
Azariah Foster was enlisted in the Union Army, Eleventh Infantry. [3][4]
