DEATH OF AN ESTIMABLE LADY.--Mrs. Sallie C. Holt, wife of Col. Jerimiah Holt,
died at her residence, near this place the 89th, int. She was born Oct. 10th, 1801, married in the year 1818. She was the mother of ten children, of which nine are now living. The grandmother, of forty-six children of which seven are dead, and the great grandmother of seven children of which all are living.
She was a devoted member of the church for nearly sixty years.
