Biography

Note

Mary Ames: "The Park Fowler family was living in Bartlesville in 1902 when Ralph was born...in 1910 they are in Big Hill Township, Osage County....still Oklahoma. Three years later, they are in Denver. Ralph had to have started school in OK but perhaps he finished in Denver thus the obituary that says he was reared and educated in Denver (Colorado)."

Apparently, at the time of his death, Ralph was living in Fruitland, PayetteCounty, Idaho, since his last Social Security benefit was sent there. According to the Oregon State Death Index: "Many people from Payette and the surrounding areas died in Ontario, Oregon, which is the closest hospital." Ralph's social security number, issued in Idaho, is: 519-07-1275.
Ralph Fowler's obituary on March 16, 1988 in the Argus Observer-Ontario, Oregon, read as follows:
"RALPH WILLIAM FOWLER

He was an accountant in the lumber industry. He married Velda Caldwell on July 5, 1942, at Mountain Home. He lived in Nampa for 25 years."
Mary Ames found additional information: "He lived in Nampa for 25 years, then moved to the Fruitland Area where he also lived for 25 years.
