Edmund died before his 50th birthday. His will was dated 30 Nov 1747 and proved 5 Jan 1747-8. He had done pretty well. He leaves the substantial sum of 200 pounds to Gilbert, land in Eastchester and 4 acres of salt meadow to son Edward. He instructs his executors to sell the rest of the real estate at the earlier of wife Rachel's remarriage or 12 years. Son Solomon to be schooled enough to qualify him as a Doctor. Mentions daughters Rachel, Hannah, and Abigail. [4]
