Note

Note: "Visit Utica Soldiers", Utica Herald Dispatch, August 21, 1918, Mrs. Albert Boden and Mrs. Stutasky Saw boys in Training at Camp Dix. Utica Soldiers stationed at Camp Dix will leave for their journey overseas soon according to Mrs. Albert Boden and Mrs Stutasky, both of 132 Mary street, who have returned from the camp after spending a few days with Mrs. Bodin's son, Private Robert Wilkinson of the Three Hundred and Forty-fifth Machine Gun Company. Mrs. Boden and Mrs. Stutasky enjoyed the trip to the camp and uon their arrival there were royally entertained by the boys. They met a number of Utical soldiers and were more than pleased with the appearance they made in the drills and other military maneuvers. The boys receive the best of food and plenty of it and are well cared for at the Y.M.C.A headquarters distributed in various parts of the large military camp. St. George's Episcopal Church Club is another place where the boys spend much of their time and receive the conforms that cannot be had any other place in that vicinity. This club is situated about a half mile from the camp.
