Notes:
George learned several trades while in England ; brass founder, currier, and gas tube maker (lampmaker). He was baptized in 1846 and Betsy in 1847 .
George 's mother also joined the church. George and family immigrated to America in 1855 and Betsy gave birth to a baby boy aboard ship.
While crossing the plains, Betsy developed Milk Fever and the baby died. She became disoriented and wandered off from the train. They tried to find her but were not successful. The next train found her and brought her to the Valley where the family was reunited.
They settled in Millcreek where George helped herd the Church's cattle. In the late 1860 's or 1870 's, the family moved to Union where they farmed.
In 1885 they moved to the Snake River Valley in Idaho , and settled in Lewisville, Idaho , where Betsy was a midwife.
After his wife's death, George lived with his daughter in Murray where he died.
