James Wesley Fox, son of Thomas Fox and Mary Sweet, was born on March 12, 1868 in the village of Newburgh, Camden East Township, Addington County, Ontario.[1] He was working as a tanner at the time of his marriage to Lilly Mae McGarvey (abt.1876-) on Oct. 26, 1889 in Newburgh, Ontario.[2] Between 1918 and 1936, James worked as a boilermaker in the railroad industry.[3] James died at his home in Belleville, Ontario on June 3, 1942,[3] and was buried on the 5th in Belleville Cemetery.[4]
