Margaret Acree
In the late 1920's when they lived on Turkey Branch Road in Giles Co., Tn, Grandpa Fox was setting across the road with some friends at a Cane Mill, when he noticed that there was smoke coming from the top of his house. Grandpa ran , bare foot, across the rocky road and scurry up the post that was holding the porch roof up. When Grandpa got up there Grandma handed him some milk to put it out.

This was told to me by my Aunt Nettie Fox.
