Surgeon, of Bombay, India. He practised in Bombay, Calcutta, and on the Peninsular and Oriental Steamships.
He was the son of Dr Robert Fox and Jane Ashton, of Huntingdon. He was born on 26 March 1825. He was baptised at St Mary's Church, Huntingdon.
In 1860 in India, he married Anna Maria Dunbar Duff, with issue five children.
He died on 16 August 1869, onboard a ship off Madeira, on a visit to England, aged 44. He was buried at sea.
