Hi George,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.

You might be interested in some of the tips and tricks that we have included in the How-Tos that we share with new members these days. They were created long after you became a member so you never received them.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

Hello Cousin George,

If you need any help give me a shout!

As a Franklin with an interest in genealogy, we'd also love to have you take a look at our Franklin DNA project and considering DNA testing and joining our project. We have one participant from your line so we know we are kin, but we could use validation on the Owen Franklin lineage, which is only possible with additional participants from his line. Thank you.

Our website is online at http://trackingyourroots.com/FranklinGenetics . If I can be of any assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

Lisa R. Franklin

George, I work with Lisa at the Franklin Surname DNA project. Please consider changing the privacy of your entry and all those in your paternal line from "Private" (red colored) to "Private with Public Family Tree" (peach colored). It would help other researchers. Thank you.
