Gideon Franklin was born October 1711 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts ^[1] to James and Martha Franklin.^[2]

He married Mary Chaffee November 1735 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. ^{[3] [4]} He passed away in 1761 in Cheshire, Massachusetts. ^[5]
