Biography

Elizabeth was born on 4 March 1792 at Inverness, Inverness-shire, Scotland and given the name of her maternal grandmother. She was the daughter of Donald Fraser and Mary Ord. (She is wrongly referred to as Georgina in The History of the Mackenzies.) The name Elizabeth is often found in Scotland - perhaps more so in the Highlands - as interchangeable with 'Elspet'.

Christening Date: 22 March 1792
Christening Place: Inverness, Inverness, Scotland[1]

The entry of her baptism in the Old Parish Registers of Inverness reads: 1792 | [March] | 22d: | Fraser | Donald Fraser Writer and his Spouse Mary Ord had a Child Bapt : by Mr: Alexr. Fraser Calld Elisabeth John Mackenzie Merchant [probably John McKenzie Merch. Who married her aunt Prudence Ord] and Alexr Macdonald Writer wit:—[2]

She married George Arbuthnot (son of Robert Arbuthnot, 2nd of Haddo-Rattray and Mary Urquhart) on 26 April 1810 at St. Mary's Church, Fort St. George, Madras, India.[3]

They had 13 children.

Elizabeth died in 1834 at the age of 42.

9 October 1834 - St Margaret Churchyard, Ockley, Mole Valley District, Surrey, England [4]

Fraser-10258 and Fraser-1082 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, but no evidence whatsoever that the daughter Sebastine is correct.

Please make that absolutely clear in the biography.
