Jane McGregor Fraser was born on May 23, 1823 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, United Kingdom, daughter of James Fraser (1788–1865) and Christian Gray (1800–1863).[1]
Jane (18) married Henrie Montgomerie Bell (24) (born on August 17, 1817 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland; son of John Bell and Elliot Montgomerie) on September 8, 1841 in Mordialloc, Victoria, Australia.[2]

- James Fraser Bell (1847–1871)
- Henrie John Bell (1848–1891)
