Roy was born about 1900, the son of James and Jennie Fraser. He is shown at the age of one, as James Roy, on the Canada Census, 1901 living with his parents and two siblings, Florence and Norman, living in Lambton, Ontario, Canada. [1]
He is shown on the Canada Census, 1911, living with his parents and four more siblilngs, in Lambton, Ontario. [2]
