Biography

William West Frazier, Jr is the son of William West Frazier and Harriet Morgan Harrison He was born in Philadelphia, PA. on 13 August 1865, attended Episcopal Academy in Merion, Pa., and the University of Pennsylvania, 1882 -1886. William was the class president during his junior year, moderator of the Philomathian Society, and class historian. Once he graduated, he worked as a refiner of sugar, becoming the secretary of the Franklin Sugar Refinery. William married Elizabeth Parrish Pearsall on 3 December 1889. Elizabeth was the daughter of William Pearsall and Hannah Miller. Together they had 5 children: 1. William West Frazier (the 4th of the name) was born on 12 April 1891 in Philadelphia. 2. Isabella Frazier was born on 14 September 1892 in Jenkintown. 3. Robert Pearsall Frazier was born on 22 April 1894 in Philadelphia. 4. Francis Pearsall Frazier was born on 19 May 1900 in Jenkintown. 5. Elizabeth Parrish Frazier bo was on 13 May 1902 in Jenkintown. [1] He died at 8318 Seminole Ave., Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia on 24 August 1939. The death certificate noted dementia, hyper prostate, and arteriosclerosis. [2] [3]
