Biography

Franklin T Frazier was born 15 Mar 1810 in Knox County, Tennesee. He married twice, first to Maria J Crawford about 1833. They were parents of five children:

He next married Malcena Boone and they had four children:

• Ransom Perryman

Franklin T Frazier was known to have slaves by 1850 when he shows one 12-year-old female on the Slave Schedule for Greene County. A Bill of Sale dated 20 Sep 1856 recorded his purchase of Rance Perryman, age 20, from the estate of Sarah Perryman for $1075. In 1860, F T Frazier has six people listed on the Slave Schedule, the 22-year-old male likely being Ransom Perryman.
