Biography

Mercy Freeman was born July 15, 1732, the daughter of John Freeman and Joanna Rickertt of Rochester, Plymouth, Massachusetts[1] [2]

She married Silas Newton on Nov. 9, 1749[3]. Their children included:

  1. Lemeuel, born February 16, 1750[4]
  2. Stephen, born June 28,1754[5]
  3. Susanna, born August 7, 1761[6]

Silas Newton died December 7, 1763, at the age of 39[7]

On March 13, 1766, Marcy (Freeman) Newton married Leonard Robinson of Bennington, in Hardwick[3] [8], and had children, noted here.

On November 24, 1814 Marcy (Freeman) Newton Robinson died in Hardwick, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA[9] [10]
