Biography
Robert Freeman was born about 1706, in Virginia, to William Freeman, and Elizabeth Norris. In about 1730 he married Tabitha Freeman (Mansfield?) in South Carolina, and together they had seven children:
- James Freeman, b. 1731 m. Charity Freeman
- John Freeman, b. 1734 d. aft. 1774 m. Mary Smith
- Elizabeth Freeman, b. 1736
- Martha Freeman, b. 1737 d. 1798
- Henry Freeman, b. 1739 m. Temperance Mason
- William Freeman, b. 1742 m. Jennie Gress
- John Benjamin Freeman, b. abt. 1744 d. abt. 1799 m. Sarah Bryan
Robert passed away about 1759, in the Province of South Carolina.
