  • Rebecca was born September 20, 1822, the daughter of Zoeth (Zohith) Freeman and Charlotte Parker of Harmony, Queens County, Nova Scotia [1]
  • On May 30, 1841, she married Ludowick Smith Morine ; a farmer from Cambridge, Cornwallis County[2] [3] [1] [4], and they had children, including:
  1. Charlotte Morine, born April 11, 1842; who married November 18, 1874, Leander Huertis of Tusket, Yarmouth County ; she died December 7, 1875
  2. Susan Morine born Port Medway, NS, April 4, 1844; who married in March 20, 1862, Josiah Hayden Ringer, son of Peleg and Elizabeth (Minard) Ringer, born Northfield NS, May 2, 1841; a farmer in Northfield till 1872, when he moved to Cambridge, Massachussets. They had children born in Northfield, including:
    1. Richard Minard Ringer born May 11, 1863; who died September, 1865
    2. Flora Ellen Ringer, born July 16, 1865
    3. Kenneth Clare Ringer, born October 7, 1868 ; who died March 11, 1882
    4. Thomas Kellor Franklin Ringer, born Dec. 27, 1870
