Research Notes

Obituary mentioning a son Thomas appears to be an error, possibly a confusion with her husband, as her son's name was William Henry Stafford.

Hi Lauren, I've added a marriage source for Esther and the birth of her children. It looks like this Esther is actually Esther Stafford, rather than Esther Freeman, and married a different Thomas Lewis. Please get back to me if you would like to discuss, otherwise I'll mark the two Esthers as rejected matches. We'll also need to amend the Last Name at Birth on this profile, and remove the children who are currently connected to her profile as they had different parents - Esther Keturah (Freeman) Lewis (1858-1925) and Thomas Lewis (1859-1911). Look forward to hearing from you if you'd like to discuss. Thanks!

Freeman-18859 and Freeman-6837 are not ready to be merged because: Conflicting birth and death details and sources but clearly intended to be the same individual.
