Biography

John was born in 1803 in Rutherford County, North Carolina.[1][2]

He married Isabella Watson on the 11th of March 1838 in Macon County, North Carolina, United States.[3] [4] They were the parents of John Allen Freeman, .... He may have been married multiple times as he was twenty years older than Isabel.

He died about 1895 probably in Monroe County, Tennessee.

Notes

Another relative named John Allen Freeman. Father of Minter Erving Freeman. Also found in Monroe Co TN after 1860. (1860 Both John Allens were in Macon North Carolina. Wonder if they were traveling together?) Or there is the possibility one is named John A and the other J Allen and somewhere along the line they were combined. Exploring this possibility.
