Jasper Pershing Freeman was born in 1920 in Mecklenburg, North Carolina, the child of Stephen Freeman and Lucy Huntley. He died as a child on June 5, 1927[1], in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and was buried in Henderson, North Carolina[2].
